History
1908
Mr. Emile D'Hooge Senior starts a small business for mechanical repairs in the city centre of Ghent (Belgium) and gets in touch with laundries from time to time.
1913
Publication of the first catalogue of D'Hooge laundry equipment.
1920
Move to new premises at Ledeberg (Ghent area)
1940
Mr. Emile D'Hooge Junior succeeds his father as director of the company.
1960
Mr. Emile D'Hooge Junior passes away during a business trip in Italy. The management of the company is taken over by his 3 daughters.
1962
The D'Hooge family starts to cooperate with Mr. Jorn Jensen who acquires 51% of the shares and gets in charge of the company D'Hooge NV.
1972
Mr. Jorn Jensen withdraws from D'Hooge NV. The D'Hooge family acquires again 100% of the shares.
1980
D'Hooge NV is taken over by Neil & Spencer Holding.
March 19th 1990
Take-over by Loveld en start-up of D'Hooge Industries NV.
Sept. 1993
Take-over by Andlinger. D'Hooge Industries gets under the management of IPSO.
Nov. 1997
The ILG Group, including IPSO, Cissell and D'Hooge, is introduced at the Brussels stock exchange.
Nov. 1999
Merge between ILG Group and the Jensen Holding results in 'Laundry Systems Group' (LSG).
Dec. 2004
D'Hooge moves to a new location in Eke (Ghent area). The production of the Addironer is discontinued.
2006
D'Hooge is acquired by Alliance Laundry Systems (ALS).
